Possums live in trees |
This furry possum and I startled each other when I returned from the shower in a Canberra caravan park one night. As possums are nocturnal creatures and herbivores, he was obviously out in his prime time looking for a feed of fruit scraps. I've seen the mess that possums make when they rip into plastic rubbish bags so made certain that all our rubbish was put into a proper bin with a lid. Even though possums are regarded as pests, I still feel that my new acquaintance was a cute one. He must have liked me too because he let me take his picture twice! |
