Victor Harbor

Victor Harbor is part of South Australia's 'Holiday Playground' and a popular bayside spot it is too, situated only 83kms south of Adelaide.  While already well known for its horse drawn tram to nearby Granite Island that has a penguin centre, I can personally vouch for its cakes and Bratwurst sausages.

The Not So Ordinary Glacier Rock

As there's a good chance that you aren't a geologist, I will fill you in on the details about Glacier Rock in the Inman Valley.  Glacier Rock is a very old rock - five hundred million years old in fact.  It's made of quartzite, there is only one other like it in the world and that one is found in South Africa.  A bit of background knowledge can certainly make you think twice about an ordinary looking rock.

The Inman Valley is situated between Victor Harbor and Jervis Bay.
